The Westminster Police Department reminds all motorists that it is unlawful for any vehicle to stop, stand or park:
(1) Within an intersection,
(2) Within a pedestrian crosswalk,
(3) On a sidewalk,
(4) Within any area marked by yellow curbs,
(5) Where official signs prohibit parking, standing or stopping – to include fire lanes, and/or
(6) Across a driveway providing access to private property without the permission of the property owner.
Fines for these violations range from $25 to $50 (fire lane violation). Anyone with questions relating to parking regulations in the City may contact the Westminster Police Department at (410) 848-4646.
