Departments

  1. City Adminstrator

    The City Administrator provides staff support to the Mayor and Common Council, as well as prepares the agenda and background information for regular and special council meetings.

  2. City Attorney

    The City Attorney is responsible for providing legal counsel to the Mayor and Common Council, city officers, city department heads and city staff.

  3. Finance

    The Department of Finance is responsible for all financial and accounting activities in the City of Westminster.

  4. Housing

    The Office of Housing Services is the Public Housing Agency (PHA) for the HUD Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program.

  5. Human Resources

    The Human Resources Department provides support to city administration, supervisors, and employees by developing and maintaining personnel and risk management policies and programs.

  6. Community Planning & Development

    The Department of Community Planning and Development is responsible for overseeing all physical development in Westminster.

  7. Police

    The Westminster Police Department is a full-service municipal police agency that provides community-oriented law enforcement services to the City of Westminster.

  8. Public Works

    Public Works encompasses five major areas: engineering, street maintenance, utility maintenance, water treatment, and wastewater treatment.

  9. Recreation & Parks

    Westminster City Department of Recreation and Parks is dedicated to providing citizens with safe and enjoyable activities events and park services.
