My neighbor's home is a mess, the property has a terrible odor and is in bad shape all around. What can I do about it?
The Code Enforcement Officer will visit the property and conduct an exterior inspection, with primary focus on code, safety and sanitation issues. If any violations exist at the property, the Code Enforcement Officer will send a letter describing the violations to the property owner. If the property owner fails to correct the violations within the prescribed time frame, a citation will be issued and the city may undertake additional action, potentially including court action and condemnation.
