Community DevelopmentAccessible Homes for Seniors
Through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and the Maryland Department of Aging, loans are available for accessibility improvements to homes where seniors reside. The program does have income limits, which can be found on the DHCD webpage linked below. Loans in this program are typically zero-interest, and are deferred as long as the applicant lives in the property.
