Since 1996, the City of Westminster Historic District Commission has organized and conducted a holiday tour of historic homes in the City’s historic neighborhoods. For 2010, the Historic Belle Grove Square Neighborhood was the home of the Historic Westminster Holiday House Tour. The event was held Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 3 pm to 8 pm.
It was a festive evening of tours of historic homes, holiday entertainment and delicious treats. We had almost 1,000 visitors attend the tour from across the region.
2012 Historic Westminster Holiday House Tour The Tour is held every other year….so mark your calendars for December 8, 2012! We try to give homeowners about 15 months to prepare their homes for the tour (to start or complete any projects around the house). If you are interested in including your house in the 2012 Holiday Historic House Tour, please contact Melissa Hynes before May 1, 2011. We will be picking the next neighborhood before August 1, 2011. |

2010 Silent Night, Silent Auction for the Westminster Community Center:
2010 was the first year there was also a “Silent Auction” held during the Tour! The Westminster Historic District Commission would like to congratulate the Westminster Community Center on their first “Silent Night, Silent Auction.” Thanks to the generous donations of the community, they raised over $1200!
