Housing CounselingNew Homeowners
Counseling services are provided to Westminster City residents or those who are moving to the City limits. Housing counseling services are based on the needs of the individual or family. There is a one-on-one counseling program for those who prefer a more private setting. One-on-one counseling can be covered in a four-hour session. We also offer home buying seminars. The seminars are provided to a group and last about four hours.
Credit Counseling
Credit counseling includes sessions on: Common credit problems, solving credit problems, credit card traps, help with credit issues, and how to establish credit.
Budget Counseling
Stresses the importance of budgeting before and after purchase. Two sessions are spent explaining the importance of budgeting, learning to pay bills on time, and putting a budget together.
Foreclosure Prevention
What foreclosure prevention options are there? What lenders will to do to help.
