Why can't I put the snow from my sidewalk, driveway, or car into the street?
This is against the law as it can cause a driving hazard if the snow refreezes.
Why do I have to move my basketball net off of the street?
When plowing or street sweeping, the nets are in the way and require us to go around them, causing a problem for the workers and your neighbors.
Who do I notify if a street light is not working properly?
Please call 410-848-9077, Street Department, and give the nearest address to the pole, and the pole number. We will notify BGE that a street light is in need of repair.
Who do I notify if a traffic light is not working properly?
Please call 410-848-9077, Street Department, and tell us the intersection, travel direction, and the color of the light, and we will notify State Highway Administration for repairs.
Who do I notify when grass is taller than 6 inches?
