Housing Specialist
Westminster City Housing Department


$13.80 - $14.64/hour, depending on experience and qualifications;

35 hours/week

Seeking Housing Specialist to provide support for the Section 8 HCV Program. Position will rotate between administering the Intake and Occupancy functions, including responding to customer needs and providing required audit trail of all transactions.

Requirements include a thorough knowledge of the HUD Section 8 HCV policies and procedures; possession of or ability to obtain a recognized program Certification in either Occupancy, and/or Rent Calculation within 6 months of employment, and the second certification with 6 months of the first; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field; 6 months of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of formal training and related experience.

LATERAL POLICE OFFICER

Interviews will only be conducted when there is an open position available to be filled.

$38,563 - $40,911

Depending on Experience:

$38,563 – Certified with less than 1 year field experience in a full-service L/E agency

$39,720 – Certified with at least 1 year field experience in a full-service L/E agency

Applicants must hold a current police training certification from Maryland or another state.  Applicants with out-of-state certifications will have to successfully complete Maryland police training certification requirements.
