South Burning Tree Court and North Burning Tree Court, beginning with South Burning Tree Court. Work is scheduled to begin the week of May 13, 2013 and work hours will be Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The project is anticipated to be completed in two to three weeks provided adverse weather does not create delays.
Notice of Mailing to Homeowners
American Water Resources (AWR) has informed the City of an upcoming mailing to Westminster homeowners. The City is in no way affiliated with AWR, and the company's services are not in conjunction with the City water/sewer department. It is entirely a homeowner's decision to contact AWR regarding the materials mailed.
Downtown Farmer's Market Now Open!
Enjoy home-grown, farm-farm fresh produce, meats and baked goods! This market is the oldest producer-only, open air farmers' market operating in Carroll County. The Market is open on Tuesday afternoons from 2pm to 5pm and Saturday mornings from 8am to noon, from May to November and is located on the Conaway Parking Lot at the corner of Railroad Avenue (MD27) and Emerald Hill Lane. Both markets are held rain or shine. The market is handicap accessible, with ample free parking. 2013 Summer Concert Series Schedule Now Available

NEW Rental Housing License Program
On January 28, 2013, the Mayor and Common Council of Westminster approved Ordinance No. 839 that created a Rental Housing License Program in the City of Westminster. The final approved Ordinance was the result of the efforts of the City's Rental Licensing Task Force that began work on this issue in 2012. The Rental Housing License Program becomes effective June 1, 2013. The annual license fee is $20 per unit and every rental unit must be licensed with the City before it can be rented or leased.
