Fingerprinting

Effective immediately, the Maryland State Police will no longer accept inked fingerprint cards from civilians applying for licenses, permits or background checks.  All fingerprints must now be submitted electronically using “Live Scan” fingerprinting equipment.  At the current time the only location available for electronic fingerprinting is as follows:

Mon, Tues, Weds & Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thursday – 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

NOTE - Due to the circumstances described above, the Westminster Police Department no longer provides civilian fingerprinting services.
