The Celtic Canter takes place in historic downtown Westminster, MD. A 5K fun run/walk that benefits local charities such as Access Carroll and Target Community and Educational Services. The course starts and finishes at the Irish Festival on Main St. where you can enjoy live music, vendors, and activities.
The 5K race route starts at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Main Street. It continues up Main Street towards McDaniel College, then loops back on Green Street. At
the intersection of Washington Road, the route loops back to the historic Post Office, looping around the parking lot in front of the parking garage, then drops you back off on Main Street, near the finish line.

There will be partial to full road closures in Downtown Westminster from 6:00AM to 12:30PM.
• Railroad Avenue at Liberty Street will be shut down until all runners have passed this intersection. Vehicles will be held until race conditions permit.
• Eastbound lane on Main Street will be shut down, while the Westbound Lane will stay open. Vehicles must turn right onto North Center Street from Main Street.
• Westbound lane on Green Street will be shut down, while the Eastbound Lane will stay open.
• East Main Street from Liberty Street to North Center Street closed from 6:00AM to 12:30PM
