Downtown Westminster Receives Accreditation
Downtown Westminster is part of Main Street America, a national network of downtown revitalization programs. Launched in 1977 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the program is built on the proven Four Point Approach®—Economic Vitality, Design, Promotion, and Organization—to strengthen local economies and create vibrant, thriving downtowns. in Maryland, we use a fifth approach, Clean, Safe & Green too.
We’re proud to share that we have received official Accreditation by Main Street America, a recognition of our commitment to creating a vibrant, resilient, and welcoming downtown. This national honor reflects our dedication to high standards in community-driven revitalization and preservation-based economic development.
